The delimma

What to do?  There are some weirdos.  To put it plainly,  I am concerned about my kiddos names and pictures on my blog.   What are your suggestions?

Unfortunate but true. How about using nicknames for your children and don't leave the pictures posted for more than a few days.
When my children were as young as yours my prayer was always protection and salvation and trusting that God would keep them in the palm of His hand.
hugs,
Holley

Hey! A couple of things- no the shirts was not white, yes, the test was today and use letters not names- I have tried to do this. It might not work, but it makes me feel better. I feel like I'm not just putting their names out there for some craz-o to say hey- LF come here! Thanks for the spelling hints!

You can use initials or nicknames, if you are concerned. Personally, I think in the tight environment your boys live in, you do not have anything to worry about. They are not going to be anywhere without a responsible adult that you trust looking after them. So, I would not be overly concerned.

Of course, you didn't believe me about the goose egg, so ...:)

I feel like life is too short to live in fear. We are called to be like Him, and He does not have a Spirit of fear. We're in His hands, we watch over and protect our children to the best of our ability, and He is in charge of the rest.

Hey Andi!

First of all, WAR EAGLE!! Second of all......Be ANXIOUS for nothing but in everything give thanks! In other words, "don't worry, for the Lord will take care of you and your children." The night I gave my heart to the Lord, I was so filled with fear especially for my children's safety and their future. The Lord spoke to me that night and said "I love your sons much much more than you do" and I will take care of them! That's not to say that we should be careless in our actions concerning their safety, but use godly wisdom.
I understand your concerns about the internet though.....you do hear horror stories.
But the bottom line as Christians is to totally trust in the Lord in all things! He has a plan!
In His Grip,

Andi, I've lost sleep over this... not your post but your thoughts because I have them too. I also have a hard time deciding whether they are of the HS or of fear. And I've even discussed it numerous times with other bloggers. And like others have said and like you know: my trust is in the Lord. I have been and am still comtemplating a move from our current site. Our name is PLASTERED all over it. Our CHILDREN are plastered all over it and so are their names... no one has come to get us yet and Justin has complete peace about it. I still worry from time to time but I've never heard of a "REAL LIFE" {literal} blog stalker. My personal preference when reading blogs is being able to relate to the writer and usually if I read a name it makes it more personal. When I started our blog over a year ago I really only figured my family would read it so I didn't think twice about using names everywhere... and it would be hard to go back now and change everything. So, I guess I'm stepping out in faith that the Lord will protect us like He always has. I'm not telling people where we live or anything that would jeopardize us. Well, it's late and I can't wait to hear your update on the wedding rehearsal!!
