I love it-Thanks Velcro!

*****If only I had this portable hair dryer:  Velcro has done wonders, but can you imagine the possibilities with this bad boy?********

As many of you know, I started back teaching this year.  That was a big decision for our family.  I have been so blessed to be home for the almost the last 6 years.  I was a bit nervous going back, but I love it!  Part time teaching is a great fit for my family.  I wish David was about a year older, but he's adjusted well.  My mom has been a huge blessing with him and is picking him up a few times a week about an hour or 2 before I'm out of school.  The other days he's in Mother's Day Out.
I love a routine and enjoy that aspect of working.  Getting everyone out the door by 8:00 or so is a bit challenging.  For those of you with kids that aren't able to dress themselves...just wait!  That makes a HUGE difference.  I am also letting the crumbs stay on the floor from breakfast.  :)  That is a BIG step for me.  However, I strive to have plates washed off and table wiped.  I can't let it ALL go gals.  The boys are really doing well.  I want to encourage you all with really young ones: it gets so much easier.  My older two can get in the car and buckle themselves.  It seems like yesterday that I was getting all three strapped into car seats.  Oh yes, 3 in car seats:  3 kids 3 and under.  :)  It was a yoga exercise I tell ya.  I contorted my body to reach the ones in the back.   Now, I guess I am a lady of leisure.  I only strap in one little munchkin.  I can't believe I have a  5, 4, and almost 2 year old!  Where has the time gone?
Best money spent this year:  Velcro New Balance shoes for David!  I can get those suckers on his little chubby feet in no time.  It seriously would take almost 5 min. to get the tie shoes on because he would curl his toes!
I have some interesting news....I'll share tomorrow.  Gotcha wondering!!!!???  Hope so!

Andi, I am right there with ya - except I have to be at work at 7:00 am - ouch, i know - it hurts me too - I have learned also, not to HAVE to leave the house spotless and make my bed (this one hurts me the worst), but putting my children first, especially my 3 month old is my first priority every morning - My goal is to have at least 20 quality minutes of feeding time with him. I get off at 12:00 4 days a week, so I still have my afternoons with all 3 children, which is wonderful! The Routine is good for all of us! Can't wait to hear the news!

It is cruel to taunt us regarding the big news...

And yes, velcro is the 8th wonder of the world.
