The Recipe and David

Thanks to Angie B. my beloved pediatrician and dear friend, we have a STREAKLESS cleaner that was recommended to her by the granite man she used.
Let me know what you think!
Here is the "secret recipe:"

1 part denatured alcohol (found in the paint section of Wal-Mart, etc.) to 16 parts water (found in your tap). The denatured alcohol is about $5 for a quart and lasts literally years! I got a spray bottle marked up to 18 oz so its easy at the dollar store. Love it! Works like a charm and cheap!

So, we had a little rain last week.  One evening as we were about to sit down for a nice little family dinner, we noticed David was missing.  If you have been reading about this three ring circus long enough, you know that is NOT unusual.  We knew he was in the backyard or perhaps the play room.  I sent Ben to hunt down the child and this is what he found:

When Ben asked him what he was doing, he replied I just playing.  This is why I am graying earlier than I would like.  Between the child and his umm, let's see how to phrase it, uninhibited ways along with the time it takes to download the video onto Blogger- just look for me to be a full head of white by July.

I love it! I can so see any one of mine doing the same thing! Anne Marie would have taken off her pink dress as to not soil it and be streaking while "just playing" in the front yard! LOL! The video is priceless!

What a precious video! That's so funny! The world of little boys still amazes me...that's so something T3 would do!-ha!

I love it! Oh yes, he most definitely is a 3rd child! This so made me smile and think back on my boys early days. Wonderful you got this on video.

My Granny would have said,"Get out of that water...you are gonna get 'ground itch'! I never knew what that was...or if it was dangerous or fatal. But, she used that warning alot! Better check it out with Angie B! :)

Oh Andi, I'm sorry for your gray hairs but can I say this is the most adorable thing...as an outsider looking in, not as a parent hunting her child and ready for a meal. I'm guessing you had to clean and dry him up. I love his "I just playing, I just playing." Such force and enthusiasm that he is hitting that water. I remember the awe of seeing the water splash us. Such small things can fascinate a child's mind.

Easy recipe, huh? Sounds like the hard part will be finding the alcohol. I'll have to write that down as I've already forgotten.

Boys will be Boys! I love it...don't know if I want David teaching my Miller any of his tricks!!!That is one of those just got to laugh moments. I had several of those last week including Sadie pulling up my dress for all of C-F-A to see my bare backside! Having little ones is a blast & full of surprises!

Andi, So excited about that recipe. I will have to try it... does Angie guarantee it.... not that it works but if any of our children drink it? I mean it can't be any worse than dishwashing detergent right?! And sweet David... what a little angel!

I too clicked over from Darby's blog; I just had to comment when i read your boys' names. My boys names are Luke, Joshua and Benjamin and they are grown up now. Enjoy these times even though they sometimes drive you crazy; it goes by very very quickly.

Precious! I raised 3 girls so I didn't get the joy of little boys, but I now have 3 grandsons and boys are definitely different!

THanks for sharing.
