It happened. One of those embarrassing moments in time that will never escape your memory or the memory of the embarrassed.
Luke is almost 5. He asks good questions. He is a curious little guy.
We went to Sam's. A smorgasbord for questions.
A very kind, elderly gentleman spoke to the boys and paid them attention.
Then, it happened.
The moment that will hover over this sweet man's memory forever.
"Mommy, why does HE have to buy diapers."

Oh, the times you wish you could stuff a sock in a boy's mouth! Been there...heard that...been embarassed!
Oh. My. Word. Did you turn five shades of red? I did just thinking about it. That poor man. I think I'm super sensitive right now because I just read Susan-Runner Mom's post about her parents in their 80s. Just the sweetest things.
I usually feel so bad for elderly because of so many reasons.
oh my goodness. that is awful...
I sure hope he was hard of hearing! Too funny...at least to us reading about it, but I'm sure it wasn't to you at the time.
Hugs!

Oh my!!!!!! I'm rolling right now... I think I would have just cried. Oh well, it's just part of growing old I guess???
Oh, how funny!! I'm sure not at the time, but rather, you quite possibly wanted to crawl under the cart! Out of mouths of babes...good thing is, there's a good chance Mr. didn't hear him, right!?!
I love it! I know you were about to die but I think its hilarious... At least he notices details.
That is too precious...It reminds me that once my mom had a wreck and she would not let the wrecker take her car because she had depends in there for my grandmother that was in the nursing home. She said she didn't want the man driving the wrecker to think they were hers !!!She was 73 at the time..
